Technical arts ministry volunteers work behind the scenes to make it possible to share the message of the church, with large groups of people through amplified sound recordings, PowerPoint presentations, webpages and other forms of communication. This critical team is responsible for all of the technical functions of Abundant Life Fellowship during Church Events. Church events include: Sunday morning worship, special services, choir festivals, congregational meetings, leadership meetings, and other gatherings.
The Camera Operator is responsible for setting up and operating cameras during our services under the direction of the Broadcast Engineer assuring the best quality video for all of our services, streaming online and post-production content.
The Audio Engineer is responsible for setting up and controlling the Front of House (FOH) sound in the sanctuary. This includes assuring the best quality audio for all services, streaming online and post-production content.
The Video Engineer is responsible for presenting all media content in the sanctuary. This includes prepared computer generated audio and video files, and/or the video feed from the control room under the direction of the Broadcaster.
Control Room Positions
The Broadcaster is responsible for producing a live to tape file of our services. The Broadcaster directs the Camera Operators and ensures that live footage is available in the sanctuary. The Broadcaster assures the quality of the sanctuary experience while transforming that experience to our streaming online and post-production audience.
The Recording Engineer is responsible for monitoring and adjusting volume levels of inputs from the sanctuary’s Audio Engineer audio mix assuring the best quality stream audio while recording our services. They also are responsible for post-editing the recorded files to produce an audio file suitable for Television and all media content.
Control Room Assistants
The Control Room Assistant is a multi-faceted position. The CRA is responsible for monitoring the stream sound and adjusting when needed. Ensuring the video capture and bluray recording of our services. They also create and print media labels, duplicate media and ensure product for our book store.
The Editor is responsible for all post-production video projects. This includes dvd or bluray versions of our services or special events for Television, Social Media, as well as for sale. The Editor does this strictly adhering to industry standard conditions to produce the best quality product.
